Our Vision
We envision a world of flourishing biodiversity in which humans live in balance with each other, with all other life forms, and with the local ecology. Our wellbeing depends on the wellbeing of all life on Earth and the Earth herself, because without them our own wellbeing cannot exist. We also affirm that aggression, conflict, and violence are destructive to person, place, and planet. We encourage mutualism, empathy, and community cohesion. Acknowledging the process itself is a victory.
Our Mission
To defend the Earth and all her (inhabitants/creations) through unifying a strong global (coalition/network/alliance/confederation) of Earth protectors for a biocentric and just society by eliminating all forms of domination or destruction. We strive to protect the world in defense of vibrant diverse functioning natural systems and promote open egalitarian cultures whose purpose is to live in harmony with the land base. We affirm that the needs of any land base takes priority. The Earth is sacred.
Who We Are
Blue Earth Defense came together April 1st 2024. We are a global coalition of grassroots activists and organizations committed to restoring the balance of life on Earth. We value all life intrinsically and recognize the vital role of Indigenous People and women in defending nature. We address the root causes of environmental and social issues, including imperialism, colonialism, industrialism, patriarchy, and commodification. Our movement embraces diverse ways of life as alternatives to the dominant culture, uniting rather than dividing.
