Blue Earth Defense (BED) is officially launching Shared Ground: “Grounded voices. Collective learning. Shared futures.” A BED Learning Session in 2026 — a regular learning space rooted in grassroots knowledge, collective reflection, and shared struggle for ecological and social justice.
Shared Ground is a community centered space where grounded voices matter. It brings together women, grassroots organizers, Indigenous communities, youth, environmental and human rights defenders, and allies to learn from one another through open dialogue and shared experience.
Note: This is an online activity. Participants can join remotely and actively engage in discussions and sessions.
This is not a lecture series.
It is a space for listening, sharing, and building solidarity.
What Is Shared Ground?
1. A regular learning session open to BED members, partners, and allies
2. A space to present grassroots issues, community lessons, and lived experiences
3. A platform to share topics, articles, or community-rooted research
4. A space to engage in open discussions and learn from frontline voices
5. Sessions are accessible and participatory, guided by respect, inclusivity, and mutual learning.

1. Women and grassroots organizers
